D. Linking your Bank Account to Sound Money Wallet

This process will link one bank account to your SMW cash account. Only one bank account can be linked at any time. If you need to change bank accounts, then you will just go through this process again to link to the new bank account.

Please note that there are two different scenarios for how to link your bank account. It depends on what bank your account is located and whether that bank utilizes the Plaid system to facilitate the connection process. For major banks, like Wells Fargo, you will use Plaid and your online bank login information in 

• Credit Unions – you may have to go through the manual process. If the credit union is big like Boeing Credit Union, they will allow Plaid.
• Should you not wish to use the Plaid method of connecting (which is the fastest), you will go through the manual process in which your bank account will receive 2 small deposits that you will have to verify the amounts and the order of the deposits.

1. USING PLAID – make sure you  have your login information for your bank account. This can be done on PC, Smartphone or Tablet.
2. Log into your 7kmetals.com account and select “My Account”
3. Select “Sound Money Wallet”
4. Proceed through the SMW login process and Google Authenticator process. Your screen will look like below:
5. At the top of your screen, you will see “Settings” or a 3-bar menu (known as the hamburger menu). Click on “Settings”
6. In the setting screen, select the “Bank Account” option
7. Select “Add account” option
8. Click continue
9. Enter your bank in the search box and hit enter, or simply select your bank from the list if you see yours there.
10. If you have multiple bank accounts, like a checking and a savings account, a list of accounts will appear. Click in front of the account you wish to link your SMW to and click “Continue”
11. At this point, you will get a window tht will tell you that a deposit will be placed into your account that you selected and an automatic verification will be done, with a date that the verification needs to be completed by.
12. SMW will automatically verify your bank account and update it in the Bank screen.

NOTE: for accounts linked via Plaid, the actual transfers will take less time than manually linked accounts. This could be the same day or next day transfers.

OR

1. MANUALLY LINKING YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO YOUR SMW. You can do this step on your smartphone or pc or tablet.
2. Log into your 7kmetals.com account and select “My Account”
3. Select “Sound Money Wallet”
4. Proceed through the SMW login process and Google Authenticator process. Your screen will look like below:
5. At the top of your screen, you will see “Settings” or a 3-bar menu (known as the hamburger menu). Click on “Settings”
6. In the setting screen, select the “Bank Account” option
7. Select “Add account” option
8. Click continue
9. Scroll down to the bottom of the bank list, you will see “link with account numbers”. Click to select.
10. Click on Continue
11. Enter your routing number, then continue
12. Enter your account number for the bank account, then continue
13. Confirm your account number for the bank account, then continue
14. Select “personal” or “business” for the account type
15. Enter your name exactly as it appears on your bank account
16. Verify your accoutn – this will tell you how many deposits and what date to expect the deposits to appear. Click continue
17. Verification is now in progress. Click continue
18. You will then be brought back to the Bank Account screen
19. The bank account will now be listed with a note “awaiting manual verification”
20. Within 1 to 2 business days, there will be two small deposits in your bank account
21. Go back into your Sound Money Wallet, Settings, Bank Account
22. Click on “Fix It” after your account
23. Enter the amount of your first deposit
24. Enter the amount of your second deposit.
25. When the deposits are entered correctly, your account will show as “verified”.

NOTE: If you get an error when entering the amounts of the deposits, the bottom deposit is the first deposit and the top deposit is the second deposit. Allow up to 3 to 5 business days for the transfer to occur.
